Can I get my license without having insurance in the state of NC?

I live in North Carolina and I want to get my license. I don't have insurance or a car, but there are times when certain members of my family can't drive and its really inconvenient. Their car(s) are insured but I've heard that I needed to get car insurance as well. I'm not sure, I will be calling the local DMV in the morning, I just wanted to go ahead and find out. Insurance is not required in any state of the USA to obtain a license. Once you obtain your license, you can drive any-ones car. Permitted your granted permission. you can put insurance in a car but that car will only be insured for a licensed person.
thats not always true A pro, on my car you have to be 25 to drive,
and if you live with your mom or dad , in some cases you have to be 25 to be automatically insured.
in some cases its 25 to be automatically insured if your male and 22 if your female ..lol
You need to learn how insurance works. We don't buy insurance for people, we buy insurance for vehicles. If you have no car, you have nothing to insure.
